Sexual Violence Education and Support

Deborah Schipper, MA - Wellness Coordinator

Deborah Schipper is a Sexual Violence Prevention Educator. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and a Masters degree in Journalism, both from The Ohio State University, and is certified as a Self-Defense Instructor by the National Women's Martial Arts Federation. Ms. Schipper develops and implements workshops and programs focusing on the prevention of sexual violence and addressing situations of sexual assault, sexual harassment, intimate partner abuse, and stalking. She also provides crisis intervention and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, as well as educational interventions for students who are being sanctioned for sexual misconduct.

Nancy Radcliffe, BA - Campus Advocacy Program Coordinator

Nancy Radcliffe is the Campus Advocacy Program Coordinator with the Sexual Violence Education and Support Program of the Student Wellness Center. She provides advocacy/assistance to students, staff and faculty who have experienced sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking and intimate partner abuse. Nancy has a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Ohio State and has been working in the anti-violence field for approximately twenty years. In addition to her advocacy, education and training experience, Ms. Radcliffe teaches women's self-defense for the Ohio State University.

Laura Hallock

Laura Hallock is the graduate assistant working with the Sexual Violence Education and Support area.  She provides thought provoking programs regarding sexual assault, sexual choices, and safer partying.  Laura obtained her Bachelors degree in Psychology and minor in Political Science from Kent State University and is currently in the College of Nursing to become a nurse practitioner in Women's Health.  She volunteers with a sexual assault crisis hotline and focuses on raising awareness to the issue of sexual assault in the college population.
