Sexual Wellness

Katye Miller, MS, CHES - Wellness Coordinator

Katye coordinates the sexual wellness and stress management areas of Student Wellness. She also teaches HDFS 670.02: Human Sexuality. Katye has her Bachelors in Health Education, her Masters in Health Promotion and Kinesiology, and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Katye provides individual consultation around sexual wellness (i.e. STIs, pregnancy, relationships, pleasure, risk-reduction, abstinence, condom negotiation, etc.) and stress management (i.e. time management, imagery, PMR, etc.). She coordinates the sexual wellness and stress management presentations throughout campus and she coordinates the Condom Club and HIV Counseling and Testing program for Student Wellness.

 

Michelle Harrison, BS, CHES - Graduate Assistant

Michelle Harrison is the graduate assistant working with the Sexual Wellness Area. She oversees the "Sexperts," the student group that works closely with the rest of the student body to educate them on sexual wellness issues including STIs, contraception, and condom use. She has a Bachelors degree in Public & Communtiy Health from The University of Maryland and is currently working on a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior & Health Promotion through The Ohio State University. Her work focuses on the "Sexperts" and on presenting sexual wellness information across campus.
