Emergency Contraception will be available to 17 year olds without a prescription
The FDA overturned the decision to allow 17 year olds access to Emergency Contraception (Plan B) without a prescription on Wednesday, April, 22, 2009. Although it will not be immediate access due to the need to update the labels, Emergency Contraception will be available to 17 year-olds without a prescription at a pharmacy in the future.
