Weekly walk-in testing and STI testing dates
NEW for Fall 2011!
SWC will offer weekly walk-in HIV testing from 9-11 a.m. on Fridays.
NO BLOOD, NO NEEDLES, and RESULTS IN 20-40 MINUTES OF TESTING.
In addition, Walk-in testing time for Fall quarter 2011 are:
- Thursday, 13 October from 6 - 9 p.m. in the Hale Center (Part of BSA event) - Free walk-in HIV and STI testing will be offered
- Tuesday, 18 October from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Ohio Union Performance Hall (part of Mortar Board event) - Free walk-in HIV testing
- Wednesday, 26 October from 4:30-7:30 p.m. (Location TBA) - Free walk-in HIV and STI testing will be offered
- Friday, 18 November from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Location TBA) - Free walk-in HIV and STI testing will be offered
SWC will be partnering with Miami University of Ohio to bring their Mobile Health Unit to OSU for STI testing on 18 November.
*NOTE: As of Spring quarter 2011, the SWC now offers anonymous OR confidential HIV antibody testing for OSU students.
Columbus Public Health will provide free STI testing on 13 and 18 October and 18 November. STI testing includes Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (urine samples) and syphilis (blood draw). Testing is sponsored by OSU Student Wellness Center, Columbus Public Health, Ohio Department of Health, and Undergraduate Student Government.
Due to the high level of interest, there will be a limited number of tests available for each walk-in testing opportunity. There is free HIV antibody testing available by appointment Monday-Friday in the Student Wellness Center. Phone 292.4527 to schedule your test today!
