What is the difference between Student Health and Student Wellness?

The Wilce Student Health Center is located at 1875 Millikin Rd.The Student Wellness Center is located in room B130 of the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), 337 W. 17th Avenue. The Wilce Student Health Center (Student Health Services) provides a variety of health care services to the student population, including medical treatment for injuries and illness, as well as women's services, optometry, dentistry, and pharmacy among others. All students enrolled at OSU are eligible to use the health service, regardless of health insurance coverage. Call 292-4321 to make an appointment at the Student Health Center.

The Student Wellness Center provides services to students primarily in the forms of prevention, education, and health promotion. We offer programs and presentations covering alcohol and other drug abuse prevention, sexual wellness, nutrition, fitness, stress, and financial education. Our services include the Condom Club, Anonymous HIV antibody Counseling and Testing, Health Risk Appraisal, Nutrition Counseling, Financial Counseling and Education, Buckeye Late Night Events, and BASICS: Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students, among many others.
