Amanda Blake, MPH, CTTS, OCPS- Wellness Coordinator
Amanda is the Alcohol and Other Drug Wellness Coordinator. She has a Masters degree in Public Health from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist as well as an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist. Her work includes coordinating alcohol and other drug prevention programming and presentations, BASICS, and the Recovery Initiative.
Katharine Stough, MA, PC- Graduate Assistant for Students in Recovery Program
Katharine is the graduate assistant focusing on building a recovery community for Ohio State students who are living with addictions. Katharine has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from The Ohio State University. In addition, she has a Masters degree in clinical pastoral counseling and is licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Ohio. Katharine is currently a second year doctoral student in Counselor Education and has previously worked with Ohio State students in a variety of roles. She has also been involved in research about the QPR suicide prevention training here on campus and has wide variety of other research interests.
Marco Antonio Valenzuela, BA
Marco Valenzuela is a graduate assistant working with the BASICS program. He oversees the alcohol assessment, co-advises the student group P.A.T.H (Peers Advocates for Total Health), and conducts presentations on alcohol awareness. Marco has a dual bachelor degree in Psychology & Social Behavior and Film Studies from the University of California, Irvine and is currently working on a dual Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and Labor and Human Resources through The Ohio State University. Further, Marco is interested in pursuing a PhD in the education field to help promote wellness among college students.
