Federal Work Study

We are currently recruiting students for work study positions that will begin Spring Semester, 2017 for students who were awarded federal work study funding as part of their financial aid package. If you are interested in a work study position for Spring 2017, please review the information below.

Work Study Assistant: Front Desk Staff

Position Description: Students staff the front desk of the Student Life Student Wellness Center. Responsibilities include answering phones, managing appointment calendars, handling financial transactions and balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  Must be comfortable with personal and sexual health issues and able to maintain confidentiality.   

Hours: Approximately 7-12 per week.

Wage category: Work-Study Aide 1; $8.10- $9.50/hr

Work Study Assistant: Collegiate Recovery Community Administrative Student Assistant 

Position Description: Students will assist with the day to day operations of the Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC), a program of the Student Life Student Wellness Center that is located in Lincoln Tower. Responsibilities include staffing the front desk of the CRC, ensuring the space is clean and stocked with supplies, assisting with marketing efforts and assisting in event planning and programming prep work. Must be comfortable with personal and sexual health issues, able to maintain confidentiality and protect the substance free environment that is the CRC space.

Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week.

Wage category: Work-Study Aide 1; $8.10- $9.50/hr
