Internships and Practicums
The Student Wellness Center has a wide variety of internship or practicum opportunities available to students interested in health promotion or education, wellness, alcohol and other drug abuse prevention, sexual health/HIV, nutrition, financial education and counseling, event planning, and much more! We will work with you to specify a project that best fits both your academic aspirations and the Student Wellness Center's needs. Communications Intern
The Communications Intern will assist with marketing projects for the Student Wellness Center. They will be responsible for maintaining and updating the organizations Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as assisting with the monthly newsletter. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, will be detail oriented, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Grant Writing Intern
The Grant Writing Intern will research, and write literature reviews for grant proposals for programming in the Student Wellness Center. Other responsibilities may include writing and proofreading grant proposals, as well as researching grant opportunities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, have excellent written skills, and have research experience.
