Bryan Hoynacke

As an Assistant Director in the Student Life Student Wellness Center, Bryan oversees and guides the center’s Financial Wellness initiatives, including the Scarlet & Gray Financial (SGF) peer coaching program. SGF has over 45 active student coaches that conduct more than 2,500 one-on-one, hour-long appointments for students at Ohio State. The coaches and support staff for SGF also give approximately 125 large group presentations annually to groups on campus, in the local community, and at national conferences. Bryan supports the SGF coaches on a daily basis, as well as through professional and leadership development events, planned throughout the year. Each year, he helps recruit, train, and educate new coaches, as an instructor for the SGF’s Leadership Development Program (LDP), a 3 credit-hour academic class during Spring Semester. He is also the primary liaison for all online financial wellness programming. Bryan serves on various committees on and off campus, always with a focus on improving student’s holistic well-being. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology, and from North Carolina State University with a Master’s of Higher Education (M.Ed) and a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA).
