Wellness Initiatives

The Office of Student Life - Student Wellness Center promotes 9 Dimensions of Wellness in all of its programmatic efforts to support Ohio State's goal of becoming the "healthiest campus on the globe."

The Wellness Initiative was created to generate holistic wellness resources for students at The Ohio State University. The core components of the Wellness Initiative are the Wellness Ambassadors program and the Wellness Coaching service. Wellness Ambassadors are student volunteers who provide outreach and education to the campus community. Wellness Coaches provide individual and group consultations that help students utilize personal strengths to accomplish wellness-oriented goals. Both programs create opportunities for students to become more involved with wellness, and together, they support an ecosystem of wellness that encourages students to achieve academic success and adopt healthy lifestyles.
