Relationship Education and Violence Prevention

What is Relationship Education and Violence Prevention?

Relationship Education and Violence Prevention educates students on how to practice healthy relationships and prevent sexual violence. Programs focus both on knowledge and skills in order to give students the tools they need to make informed decisions about such topics as consent, intervention, healthy relationships and sex positivity.

What is Buck-I-CARE About Consent all about?

Buck-I-CARE creates a culture of personal responsibility for each individual to care about themselves, their partners and the issue of sexual violence by providing guidelines for sexual experiences.

Check that your partner is capable of making informed and sound decisions for themselves

Ask your partner for consent and make sure they are actively and voluntarily engaged

Respect your partner's boundaries by accepting when they do not want to engage in a sexual activity
