While partying has been considered a “normal” part of college, another trend is FAD – food and alcohol disturbance – which is restricting one’s food intake or engaging in other compensatory behaviors to offset the calories consumed for drinking alcohol. Although this approach may seem to work in the short-term, is it leading to the very thing people are trying to avoid like weight gain?
