Love Your Body Week
What is Love Your Body Week?
Love Your Body Week is a new university-wide collaboration to promote body acceptance and positivity at Ohio State. This week of events is devoted to educating, celebrating and creating a sustainable and supportive campus environment for all body types and experiences. Throughout the week, events will take place all over campus covering topics such as self-expression, fitness, body dysmorphia and eating disorders, media representation and influence, embracing your body and creating a culture of positivity.
Love Your Body Week is open to all students, staff and faculty. Whether you are new to the body positivity movement or are a dedicated advocate, we encourage you to attend at least one event this week to enhance or strengthen your body image, learn more about resources and gain skills to support our community.
When is Love Your Body Week?
Love Your Body Week 2020 is February 24-28. Check back here for a full list of events late Fall 2019.
How can you get involved?
Individuals and groups interested in facilitating a program, workshop, or event for Love Your Body Week can submit a proposal through our Love Your Body Week Partner Proposal Form. Programs submitted through our online form by the application deadline of Thursday, October 31, will be included on marketing material and the event calendar.
