Individuals who are in need of accommodations to attend one of our events, such as live captioning, can request by emailing Mackenzie Hogan. Typically, 10 days notice will allow us to provide seamless access.

SMART Meeting

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

SMART Recovery is a science-based program to help people manage their recovery from any type of addictive behavior. This includes addiction to substances such as alcohol, nicotine, or drugs, or behaviors such as gambling, sex, eating, self-harming, etc. SMART stands for Self-Management And Recovery Training. SMART Recovery helps participants decide if they have a problem, builds their motivation to change, and offers a set of proven tools and techniques to support recovery in a supportive environment with others.

While this is an open meeting, we ask that only individuals who identify as in or seeking recovery support attend. Recovery Allies or other interested individuals can reach out to recovery@osu.edu for more information and ways to get connected.

Beyond Your Buzz: Navigating Your Relationship to Substance Use in Graduate School

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Ohio Union Interfaith Prayer Room

 

Everyone has their own relationship to alcohol and other drugs, whether you decide to use them or not. Join us as we consider how our relationships with substances may impact your graduate and professional journey. Attendees will learn how substance use can impact an individual, consider ways to create healthy and safe practices when it comes to substance use, and how to be recovery friendly to self and others. Lunch is provided, you must register here.

CRC All Recovery Meeting

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Baker Hall 099 or via Zoom

 

The CRC All-Recovery meeting is an opportunity for Ohio State students in or seeking recovery from alcohol and other drugs to build community and support one another in their daily journey in a meeting that is open to all recovery pathways. This meeting happens every Wednesday throughout the school year.

While this is an open meeting, we ask that only individuals who identify as in or seeking recovery support attend. Recovery Allies or other interested individuals can reach out to recovery@osu.edu for more information and ways to get connected.
