SOAR works to prevent overdoses and save lives through harm reduction. By building innovative technology that promotes connection and providing on-the-ground support throughout Ohio, SOAR strives to empower people who use drugs to build strong, healthy communities.

Join SOAR alert networks in Ohio for early warnings about deadly batches of drugs. Text “SOAR” to your region’s number to receive Overdose Surge and Deadly Batch Alerts when there is a spike in overdoses or dangerous drugs are found in your area. Find the Deadly Batch Alert Numbers for your campus or another Ohio county here.

Project Dawn Locations (Project DAWN Locations | Ohio Department of Health)

Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) is a community-based overdose education and naloxone distribution program that was created as a way to combat Ohio’s opioid overdose epidemic.

Ohio Pharmacy Board (State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy)

List of Pharmacies across Ohio providing Naloxone without a prescription. These kits may still incur costs for the individual picking them up.

Harm Reduction Ohio (Get Naloxone - Harm Reduction Ohio)

Harm Reduction Ohio will mail naloxone to Ohio residents at no cost.

Beyond Your Buzz is an opportunity for any students who have a desire to explore and make positive changes in their substance use.

CAEP

CAEP is a group experience for 8-12 students which lasts 60 minutes. It is intended for students who indicate moderately risky cannabis use or are involved in a policy violation related to cannabis or substance use.
Naloxone Training

Carry Naloxone. Save a Life

This training provides participants with information on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, administer the opioid overdose reversal drug, Naloxone, and educate the importance of harm reduction and its concepts.

Choices
