The Office of Student Life Student Wellness Center provides services to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students while supporting faculty and staff in their efforts to promote and support student wellness. Appointments below are both in-person and virtual, available to Ohio State students on all campuses.

BASICS/CASICS

These programs are offered for all Ohio State students who may want to explore their alcohol and drug use, but the goal of the program is to reduce risky behaviors and harmful consequences of alcohol or cannabis abuse. The program is designed to assist students in examining their own behavior in a judgment-free environment. 

Beyond Your Buzz

Beyond Your Buzz (BYOB) is an opportunity for any students who have a desire to explore and make positive changes in their substance use. BYOB aims to engage students in authentic and open conversation around their substance use and its impact on their daily life.

Party Smart

Partying smart is all about staying safe while having fun. Whether you choose to drink, use, or not, use the Party Smart tools and tips to keep you and your friends safe and healthy.

ScreenU (Alcohol, Cannabis, Rx Drugs)

ScreenU tools can help you quickly identify if you are experiencing negative consequences because of your substance use. Based on your responses, you will receive non-judgmental feedback encouraging you to think about your choices that may be putting you at risk for harmful consequences.

Collegiate Recovery Community

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) is a welcoming and inclusive environment for students in or seeking recovery from substance misuse.

Drug and Alcohol Addiction resources and community based supports serving Crawford and Marion Counties.

Marion Public Health (Home - Marion Public Health)

Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) is a community-based overdose education and naloxone distribution program that was created as a way to combat Ohio’s opioid overdose epidemic.

Students Scheduling an Appointment

CAEP

CAEP is a group experience for 8-12 students which lasts 60 minutes. It is intended for students who indicate moderately risky cannabis use or are involved in a policy violation related to cannabis or substance use.
Naloxone Training

Carry Naloxone. Save a Life

This training provides participants with information on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, administer the opioid overdose reversal drug, Naloxone, and educate the importance of harm reduction and its concepts.
ATOD Meeting

Choices

Choices is a group experience for 8-12 students which lasts 60 minutes. It is intended for students who indicate moderately risky alcohol use or are involved in a policy violation related to alcohol or substance use.
