Student Wellness Center Resources
The Office of Student Life Student Wellness Center provides services to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students while supporting faculty and staff in their efforts to promote and support student wellness.
These programs are offered for all Ohio State students who may want to explore their alcohol and drug use, but the goal of the program is to reduce risky behaviors and harmful consequences of alcohol or cannabis abuse. The program is designed to assist students in examining their own behavior in a judgment-free environment.
Beyond Your Buzz (BYOB) is an opportunity for any students who have a desire to explore and make positive changes in their substance use. BYOB aims to engage students in authentic and open conversation around their substance use and its impact on their daily life.
Partying smart is all about staying safe while having fun. Whether you choose to drink, use, or not, use the Party Smart tools and tips to keep you and your friends safe and healthy.
ScreenU (Alcohol, Cannabis, Rx Drugs)
ScreenU tools can help you quickly identify if you are experiencing negative consequences because of your substance use. Based on your responses, you will receive non-judgmental feedback encouraging you to think about your choices that may be putting you at risk for harmful consequences.
The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) is a welcoming and inclusive environment for students in or seeking recovery from substance misuse.

Young Adult PHP/IOP Support Team
At times, students may benefit from a higher level of care such as Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in order to address more chronic and acute symptoms and concerns. This is an appointment considered “orientation” to the Young Adult PHP/IOP offered at Harding Hospital. Orientation is an opportunity for referred students to receive psychoeducation on the structure and benefits of the programs.
