Confidential Resources

We know how important it is to get help when you need it and with the resources available at Ohio State, there is something you can do to promote positive mental health and well-being every day, 24/7. 

  • If you have a concern that is urgent or an emergency, please seek immediate assistance. After-hours support is available by calling 614-292-5766 and press #2 to be connected to a counselor in the evening, overnight or during the weekend.

Need to Talk?

  • Counseling and Consultation Service provides confidential individual and group mental health services, psychoeducational prevention and outreach programming to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students.
  • "Let's Talk" is a sub-service of Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS), provides free, confidential 15- to 20-minute informal sessions with a counselor. 
  • UWill provides free and confidential immediate access to teletherapy.

Community-Based Immediate Care

After Hours Care or Immediate Care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center locations differ from emergency medical centers. It offers confidential care, although some costs may be associated. 

OhioHealth Sexual Assault Response Network of Centeral Ohio (SARNCO)  collaborates with The Ohio State University to provide free Advocacy Coordinators who support surviviors of sexual violence within the campus community.
