Overview: 

 

 

In this micro session, Student Wellness Coordinator Erica Butler will provide the definition of The Red Zone, explain why it’s so important for our entire campus community to be aware of it, and how you, as staff and faculty, can become a source of support for Red Zone programming among the students you engage with! We’ll also discuss the impact of students to seeing staff and faculty supporting programming that’s focused on keeping them safe and unharmed during their college experiences! 

 

 

Goals/Objectives: 

 

 

By the end of this micro session, staff and faculty will: 

 

 

  • Hear the definition of The Red Zone 

 

 

  • Learn why this programming is essential for everyone on OSU’s campus 

 

 

  • Become aware of the options for sharing Red Zone programming with students 

 

 

  • Understand the impact of students seeing them support Red Zone programming
