Session Five: Beyond The Red Zone

Overview: 

In this last micro session, staff and faculty will learn how to continue providing support and resources throughout the remainder of the academic year, and how that impacts the student population. We will provide action steps for ways to effectively engage with colleagues, students in class, and fellow faculty about behaviors and factors that could be contributing to an unhealthy and/or unsafe environment for students. They will find out about resources available to them all year round and how their efforts help to create a healthier school environment for all of us!   

Goals/Objectives: 

By the end of this micro session, staff + faculty will: 

• Become aware of how to best continue the support, create awareness, and provide resources about sexual violence prevention for the entire year outside of the Red Zone 

• Learn tips for how to effectively talk to colleagues and other employees about the type of environment they’re contributing to on our campus
