Collegiate Recovery Community Meeting
Who: Any Ohio State students who are in or seeking recovery from drug and alcohol misuse. We also welcome students in recovery from other institutions as well as anyone interested in learning more about recovery at Ohio State.
What: An opportunity for Ohio State students in or seeking recovery to build community and support one another in their daily journey in a meeting that is open to all recovery programs.
When: Every Wednesday from 5:30p.m. - 6:30p.m.
Where: Students can join the meeting in person at 099 Baker Hall at 113 W 12th Avenue or via Zoom. Students can use the Zoom meeting ID 605 899 565 with the password RECOVERY to join the meeting, or click here to directly access the meeting.
Important COVID-19 Update: In order to comply with the University and greater community's recommendations surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have moved our weekly meeting to hybrid format so that students can chose to join in person or virtually. Students who join in person will be required to wear a well fitted mask in the building. We ask that if you are not feeling well that you join us virtually.
We recognize that social support is vital to all students, and particularly students in recovery. While local community meetings may be returning to in person format, below you will find a few resources for virtual recovery meetings that you may find helpful during this time:
- In the Rooms (Multiple pathways to recovery served)
- Virtual Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
- Central Ohio NA meetings (in-person and virtual)
- Virtual Alchoholics Anonymous (AA)
- Central Ohio AA meetings (in-person and virtual)
- Virtual SMART Recovery
- Virtual Refuge Recovery Meetings
- Recovery Dharma Online
If there are other resources not listed above that you feel like you need during this time, please reach out to recovery@osu.edu. The Collegiate Recovery staff will be more than happy to assist in helping you to sustain your recovery goals.
